Course Overview
This programme is designed for learners who already possess foundational knowledge in the subject and are seeking to consolidate their expertise while gaining a qualification that recognizes their advanced learning. It is ideal for those looking to deepen their understanding and achieve formal recognition of their existing skills and knowledge. Throughout the course, learners will be exposed to a range of topics, including ISO standard ‘harmonisation’ programmes, organizational strategy and risk plans, contemporary issues in CSR risk management systems, and risk financing options available for an organization. Additionally, learners will learn how to evaluate a range of tools to assess an organization’s position in the market and prepare a risk management plan to mitigate potential risks.
Entry Requirements
An honours degree in a related subject or UK level 6 diploma or an equivalent overseas qualification.
OR Mature learners with relevant management experience. Applicants must be 21 years or older at the beginning of the course.
English requirements: If a learner is not from a majority English-speaking country must provide evidence of English language competency.

Students who successfully complete the Postgraduate Diploma in Risk Management at Telford Business School are awarded two distinct certifications:
1. Postgraduate Diploma Risk Management - This diploma is internally awarded by Telford Business School
2. Qualifi Level 7 Diploma in Risk Management - This is an Ofqual-regulated qualification awarded by Qualifi.

Progressions
The Qualifi Level 7 Diploma enables learners to progress into or within employment and/or continue their further study. As this qualification is approved and regulated by Ofqual (Office of the Qualifications and Examinations Regulation), learners are eligible to progress to Master’s top-up at many universities in the UK and overseas with advanced standing. Student's who successfully complete this programme with us are guaranteed entry to our MBA Advanced Entry programme.
