Course Overview

The aim of the MBA is to develop and enhance the understanding of emerging theories and practices on contemporary management. The MBA facilitates a critical exploration of the role of business in a complex multi-stakeholder society, and the connectedness of business with society and the increasingly global and networked economy.

The programme will provide participants with the essential skills as well as the advanced knowledge and understanding of international business and strategic management.

The programme follows a problem-based learning approach, and participants will be expected to demonstrate how they have utilized their learning and development in solving business related issues and problems by integrating and building on perspectives from the course and the literature, and their own contexts through an End Point Assessment via a Reflective Development Log and Portfolio as well as a Work Based Project..

Entry Requirements

An honours degree in related subject or UK level 6 diploma or an equivalent overseas qualification
Mature learners with management experience
Learners must be 21 years or older at the beginning of the course
English requirements: If a learner is not from a majority English-speaking country must provide evidence of English language competency.

Students who completed this programme would receive dual awards. MBA awarded by University of Gloucestershire and Qualifi Level 7 Diploma in Strategic Management and Leadership. The course is delivered in collaboration with IDM International.

Progressions

Masters degree holders can progress to a DBA/DProf/PhD or directly into employment in an associated profession.
